Ted Koppel Scorches O’Reilly: You Spent 20 Years Making The News Dumber

“You and I have talked about this general subject many times over the years. It’s irrelevant how I would do it. You know who made it irrelevant? You did. You have changed the television landscape over the past 20 years — you took it from being objective and dull to subjective and entertaining. And in this current climate, it doesn’t matter what the interviewer asks him; Mr. Trump is gonna say whatever he wants to say, as outrageous as it may be.”

treason being committed right under his, and corporate media's nose. his nightly soap opera.....what was the name of that garbage scow?

oh, yeah America Held Hostage, right?

Fuck him and his phony, self-righteous brand of ''journalism.'' He's worse than OReilly, because his so-called non-partisanship fooled the average news consumer, who never looked beyond the salacious headlines proffered by hairboy and his ilk.

Why was NO credence given to the work of people like Robert Parry, especially during Iran/Contra? Where was Ted during all that?

Give me a break.

groundwork repetition.

fox is the visual icing on the lie turd pie of talk radio

and if these 90 universities are pushed to reread their mission statements and started looking for apolitical alternatives to broadcast their sports the talk radio monopoly and rw PSYOPS would fall apart.

at the moment those universities are supporting trump.

as long as the left ignores talk radio, he is acceptable to tens of millions of americans who have never heard or seen their talk radio gods challenged in real time.

by protesting those universities, communities around those unis can tell the trump supporters directly that trump is NOT acceptable.

But Koppel let O'Reilly get away with his assertion that "Bernie Sanders' programs are just as wild as some of Mr. Trump's programs"... which is inherently illogical based on their immediately preceding point, that Trump basically HAS no programs, it's all bluster with no substance. You can argue about Sanders' proposals, fine, but you can't say they're all bluster and no substance, he's as detailed as Trump isn't.

I hate when the media lumps both sides together like that. While I don't support Sanders (or Clinton) in the primaries, Bernie's proposals have actual ideas to support them behind each claim. Trump just proposes pies in the sky and promises it will be great (or YUUUUGE!!) and he really has very little substance behind them.
