he will come out and call mittens something to the effect of an empty suit, then follow up with "not a fan" (or something equally superfluous)
his supporters will cheer and yell all sorts of off color remarks about mittens.
the news cycle will eat it up.
it will last about 3 to 4 days until the next thing happens that causes trump to utter some inane red meat response to his base and mittens will then be long forgotten.
while mittens (I'm not defending him) will shrug, say, "I tried" then go back home to his millions with a fat paycheck in his pocket provided by the moron right wing that created frankentrump and don't know how to get him back in the lab.

and this speech of mittens being done on a Thursday only proves that nothing will come of it. it will be less than 3 or 4 days until it disappears off the radar, it will be an after thought by tomorrow afternoon, right after the typical Friday night news dump.
just more desperate hand wringing by the right wing and their stupid attempts at unfucking their fucked up situation. That, I might add, was of their own doing.
