When Hillary trounces him, the GOP won't have a real excuse but you can't discount his turnout.

I just switched from republican to Democratic registration. Long time coming and should have been sooner. My republican friends are not willing to follow me to the 'dark side' but they all swear they will not vote for Trump. Nor Cruz but my friends are not evangelicals.

As far as my family and acquaintances who are really right wing I really think that 8 years of anger about a black president have driven any rational thoughts and arguments out of their minds. They no longer even have the need to voice half rational arguments. Just take America back and we need a Real American as president. Scary shit.

I want to thank DU since stalking here over the past 4 years really helped me to re-evaluate my perspective.

I long for the day that my part of the country returns to the Democratic Party.
