It's "dump on Trump" night on Fox. The moderators, Rubio and Cruz are all spending their time trying to squash him.

Not that I'm complaining...

And there we obviously collusion between FOX, the Rubio team, and the Cruz team to all hit the same talking points.

As vile as Trump is, Cruz is worse. And Trump will get trounced in the GE.

they are defending Trump and think the GOP is dead regardless of what they do.
Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I know he signed the "pledge" last Fall, but that has pretty much zero teeth from what I read then.

Honestly, I think at this stage in the game he might still be able to branch off and go independent agent. It's not as if the convention has taken place or anything.

That would be grand though a lot of righties would go to the polls with 2 republicans running.

But, that's irrelevant. If he even ran a write in campaign it would guarantee our nominee would win. It could effect our down ticket, but it's more effort to pick and choose vs. voting straight party, which would be a help.

Then there's the fact Trump voters if he ran third-party would be much less likely to support the establishment candidates.

I'm not saying he will, but I do expect some sort of epic tantrum after tonight. They were brutal to him!

Fox news is with the establishment just like the other channels. Evidently they don't realize a lot of the people who support Trump are doing so because they HATE the establishment. A guy I work with didn't start out as a Trump supporter but he's flaming mad at the way the Republicans have been trying to stop the voters from voting for Trump. He's also mad at the Republicans for what they are doing with Obama's Supreme Ct. nominee. A lot of eyes are opening in this country about what is happening and they are opening on both sides of the aisle.

sense it's kind of like what they're doing to the Middle East...tearing things down
and leaving chaos in their wake. And who will be there to fill the power vacuum?

which is why this election is so important. We have got to try to peacefully change what's wrong so that we can try to prevent a violent uprising that may lead to what you mentioned.
