MAHER telling Jon STEWART "an event needs to be *ABOUT* something" applies to Mittens' speech today

In 2010 delusional Glenn BecKKK decreed some kind of rally that his wingnut followers thought was about them. In reaction, Jon STEWART then held one that *his* fans thought was going to be about them. BecKKK pulled back from honest wingnut red meat and blathered about how he was not about divisiveness. STEWART held some kind of Hippy-Dippy festival with the dudes from Mythbusters. The fans of both groups were let down. After the events were over, MAHER said about STEWART's, "If you're going to have an event, it needs to be *about* something."

That's what Mittens skewering DRUMPF was like. Joe SCABS fulfilled his DRUMPF fanboy role, five hours before Mittens spoke, saying that the only things Mittens could say that would make any difference were either to declare he was running or endorse somebody, and that was about it. All Mittens did was to have a slick summary of all-of-the-above-trash-talk that has been going on for months, delivered in Mittens' oddly "nice" way. It was like, If meanness is what is wanted today *I* can be mean!1 but in a very "nice" way that will not upset you too much!1 What was the point of it all, to say what everybody else has been saying for months ad nauseum, a condensed replay of all the "debates". Mittens and BecKKK wear their Mormon insecurity on their sleeves, craving legitimacy and respectability, the khaki trousers and blue Oxford shirts, nice and very normal in every way.

And these "debates" are *SO* over, the Repuke ones. They've been all about DRUMPF, all a pile of *assertions* with nothing fleshed out. As for Mittens' speech and tonight's debate, even DRUMPF was over it. Earlier in the day DRUMPF barely wrote Mittens off as "irrelevant" and looked *low energy* with even RUBIO sounding tired of his own name-calling. My biggest obsession through it all was how BIG and droopy DRUMPF's hair was.

I'm even tired of this, my own post.

Had he issued a call to arms saying he was getting in or vowing to make a floor fight or something substantial, I would have thought him serious.

Who the next gopper to take a swipe at drumpf?

Isn't there some kind of sci-fi horror flick or show where the monster actually got bigger and mightier, the more they attacked it? That's Trump and the GOP right now.

It's not something you want to attack head on. You have to work very hard and very strategically to defeat the problem, otherwise it will grow and mutate.
