I'm not very surprised at Trump's rise

After all the GOP had promoted for years the idea that our government is the enemy.

tRump is just fitting in with that meme by making a mockery of the process of running for office.

Following the Bush debacle, the Republican Party is devoid of any credence. Their slate of candidates is proof enough.
Trump is merely filling a vacuum and all the political debris of the past century is falling into the abyss with him.
The big unknown is if they will reemerge as a real political force.
