Ken Cuccinelli yes "The Cooch" nominated to Va. Supreme Court

Richmond, Va. — The Senate Courts of Justice Committee nominated former Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli for a state Supreme Court seat, according to Senate Republicans, according to CBS 6 .

The state Senate will back the conservative politician’s nomination, but the GOP majority plan was to nominate Appeals Court Judge Rossie Alston, according to Daily Press reporter Travis Fain.

Cuccinelli has been nominated to a seat currently filled by Governor Terry McAuliffe’s recess appointment. McAuliffe’s appointment of Supreme Court Justice Jane Marum Roush has lapsed.

Cuccinelli is a corrupt, closed-mined, anti-Science, extreme RW Republican. He got his start in the district next to mine trying to ban Cinderella and Harry Potter from libraries because they contain witchcraft. He got caught up in the same scandal that McDonnell is facing jail time over and said he couldn't give the money back because he already spent it.

Hell they caucused in 2013 to get him on the ballot. Bolling was almost a sure win but he wasn't crazy enough for them.

This appears to be an end around by the Republicans in the Senate mainly to spite the Gov for his recess appointments.

The Dems and 1 powerful Repub have been holding up what must be a real RW extremist. Apparently the Va. senate nominates not the Gov. Not sure
