So Jeb's gonna meet w/ Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich before the Flada Primary

I wonder what bone Jeb's gonna throw to Rubio to get him to back out.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush plans to meet with three of the four remaining Republican presidential candidates today and tomorrow in Miami, according to an aide.

Bush, who until recently was also a presidential contender, plans to meet separately with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a spokeswoman said. There are no plans for Bush to meet with businessman Donald Trump — no surprise given their acrimonious relationship.

I can't imagine Kasich could be induced to drop or that he or Kasich could throw their support to Cruz. Certainly Cruz has no reason to drop out. Seriously, this smells so doomed. Obviously Plan B is split the convention and compromise with Paul Ryan (probably the GOP's most formidable candidate right now) but as long as everyone's splittin the antiTrump vote, Trump's chances of walking into the convention with a delegate majority go way up.

Here's one crazy theory. What if Jeb suggests Kasich throw his support to Rubio in Florida and Rubio tell his voters to support Kasich in Ohio. I doubt that'd work, but this is the time you start throwing hail Mary passes. Still no idea what they could offer Cruz in such a deal.

I hate to say it but Trump is 100% correct when he points out that he will get a share of the votes that would have gone to anyone who drops out.

When they talk about the "anti Trump" vote, it is still smaller than the "anti Cruz" or "anti Rubio" vote.

2. Oh, I don't doubt it's mostly hopeless, but I also think they're amazingly desperate

Jeb & Mittens would kill their first borns to stop Trump. I'm just wondering what Jebby's planning to do & hoping to provoke someone smarter than me to speculate.
