After year on market, still no buyer for Hell, Michigan

Noe Hernandez, Livingston Daily 8:01 a.m. EST March 11, 2016

The price of Hell, Michigan dropped this week to $900,000 — a devilish descent of $99,666.

John Colone, Hell’s unofficial mayor, revealed the price drop in a conversation with the Livingston Daily.

“It’s open to any offers,” Colone said from Screams Souvenirs, one of several businesses he owns in Hell. “We’re willing to work with anyone.”

Hell is a Putnam Township hamlet located some 15 miles south of Howell.

The Dam Site Inn! (Great name for Hell, Michigan.)

Haven't been there in years, but it was always a good place to eat and drink. Looks like they remodeled, in HELL!

what does that entail?

You get to make all the rules?

Are you hampered by HOA.

What bills do you inherit?

Can you tax churches and require bars be open 24/7?

I mean, I don't have the money but that does seem like an awfully reasonable price for a whole town.

Provided you can actually do something with it.

If nothing else, could I buy it and make riding mopeds while naked legal? I'd love to putter naked around town on a moped.

In the summer, I expect.

I'd put up signs warning visitors that I might be letting it all hang out. But they could too if they wanted.
