Those Trump supporters are having fantasies of being powerful

Last edited Fri Mar 11, 2016, 08:30 PM - Edit history (1)

by association. That really struck me when I saw that man at a Trump rally sucker punch the guy being tossed out. People who feel low on status and power will do anything to prove their loyalty to an authoritarian. And they fantasize about proving their loyalty. Don't bet on Trump to try and temper this violence. And look for it to get worse as Trump gets people angrier and GOP policies continue to eat away at those not in the 1%. And all the powerless feed on each others loyalty that Trump seems to be demanding currently.

I fear there is a seething anger in this country on the part of these racists and violence is very much on their mind, just looking for someone to give the OK and go ahead.

We as a nation need very much to figure out a way to make it known under no uncertain terms that they cant get away with that.

We have laws, and you cant beat someone for speaking an opinion.
