Trump talking to Chris Matthews on the phone now...

he said the anger isn't directed at him. People are angry with how the country is being ran. *blames Obama*

is he for real?

Matthews: Are you going to change your rhetoric now?
Trump: * would not answer the question*

he asked a serious question about why trump was calling a protester names. but in the end he let trump get away with an evasive answer. typical chris m.

and he certainly lost his nads tonight.

rachel talking with chris right now and he's agreeing with her. brave with his colleague but not with the one who caused the crisis. matthews is useless to the public and a tool of trump tonight.

because, like you say, he can be tough. But then he turns around and gets a woody seeing GWB in a flight suit. It is frustrating.

he'll always ride the fence. one ass cheek hanging over one side and the other hanging over the other side.

in this instance he wants to leave the door open for more interviews with trump.

6. Chris is basically afraid of people like Trump
Fri Mar 11, 2016, 09:28 PM

He is a bully to people who he knows are too polite to respond to his idiotic blathering with the indignation he deserves.

But when he is confronted with somebody who won't back down, Chris backs down himself.

8. What's galling me is....Trump is reaping the whirlwind and he's not being called on it.

What does he expect when he spews hate speech for months? When he both tacitly and openly condones violence at rallies? When he goads his clueless supporters into reenacting the Nuremberg Rallies? When he openly vilifies a religion and a whole ethnic group? When he appeals to the basest instincts of human nature?

Really? What does this man expect, and why is he shocked when he sees what he's done?

I predict that Cleveland '16 will come to have the same meaning as Chicago '68.

14. It's possible now that the GOP jettisons Trump quickly. Just as a matter of survival.

Even though they've got plenty of racists in their base, they're not prepared to come out and say it. Which nominating Trump will force them to do.

At this point, they're more apt to nominate Slappy the Dummy, and that says a lot.

He was droning on and on about how these protesters are such dangerous people.
He's lying his ass off.

Sorry, I had to change the channel.

15. I think Trump's sense of 'reality' is derived from a WWE wrestling match
Fri Mar 11, 2016, 09:39 PM
Mar 2016

or a t.v. 'reality' show.
Apparently he can't tell the difference between a scripted faux fight and the
very real feelings and concerns of the American people. He has a major disconnect
with reality and is therefore very dangerous. In that sense it's important for real people to
show up and show Trump just how real the stakes are for Americans.
