Call me a cynic but I'll be shocked if Trump doesn't sweep the next round of primaries on Tuesday.

Watch the GOP party base, the voters, not the politicians, fall in line behind this asshole because he got shut down by protesters.

He was just handed millions in free air time and a free speech flag to wrap himself in.

We underestimate him at our own peril.

i think tonight's HUGE thousands of people protesting against Donald Rump...... I see it as being THE END OF TRUMP.

The protesters = Millions of people across the country. Not just a couple dark skinned people at a rally. I WANT THE END OF TRUMP!! He does not speak for America. I believe he thinks for HATE.

A majority of republicans don't even like him but there are too many candidates and his 33% of the vote has won enough to let him coast to the nomination. But winning the general election, won't happen. The general population is nothing like the Klan wing of the republican party.

There is a reason the Republicans have spent millions and openly fought his nomination.

At this point, the Republicans are just trying to save the Senate.

Trump was "run out of town" by a group of non-violent protesters. That's a major humiliation for him.
Why is that going to get more votes? His followers are going vote for him but I don't think others will follow suit. We'll know soon.

Protesting the war and Bush was treason but bringing a gun to a Tea Bagger protest at the White House was "American".
They will coalesce around Trump now.

like good little boys and girls long enough. They have realized that big unbridled Capitalist and Oligarchs are "stealing them blind". They are now ready to fight back. We are probably watching the downfall of the terrible Republican policies that were designed solely to have the rich steal money more efficiently.

with many, almost all of what Trump has to say, I disagree with preventing him from being able to speak freely, at a rally intended to allow him to talk about what he believes in is even worse, Much Worse. What these people are saying is if you don't agree with our philosophy, no matter how right, or wrong it is, You do not get to speak. As far as I am concerned anyone who prevents a rally for any candidate should be arrested and prosecuted.
If you want to show your dissatisfaction with a candidate, then you should either demonstrate peaceably at a venue that does not violate the free speech rights of the person you are protesting, or go and support a candidate who agrees with your way of thinking.

They already denied that they told Trump to cancel. The charges would be numerous, disorderly conduct, trespassing, disobeying a lawful order, perhaps assault on a peace officer. When the protesters were confronted with this, most would've dispersed, as they have every time more than a few people show up to protest. (I'm reminded of the time BLM protested Clinton with a singing group and they sang their way out of the room.)

It also would have taken hours. He got what he wanted out of it. The rally itself does little. He wanted to dominate the coverage.

The optics would've been horrific. I'm just agreeing with that other poster that Trump normally would've been calling for some lone protester to be ganked, beat up, and tossed out on his butt. I think Trump isn't being consistent here. There are dozens of videos out there where he calls for protesters to be kicked out. If he really was a big "high energy" guy like he claims he would've marched right up to the podium and called for each and every protester to leave.
