Do not stigmatize people with mental illness.

Twice in two days, other posters have made personal attacks against me that stigmatize those with mental illness.

I don't care what you think of me, but don't promote stigma.

Please.

in the thread you created (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027681291), along with your zeal in responding tritely to every comment and reluctance to engage in anything but those trite and snide remarks, I'm assuming many were quite frustrated with you and that are probably deserving of leniency.

Edited to add: But then, this could just be an obfuscated post about bees again since you didn't point out any specific examples.

I'm less likely to agree with you on nearly anything by reflex. An example would have made your case and helped me (and I'm assuming others) to get past said performance and possibly agree with you.

Now this subthread has probably diminished what little interest there might have been in the actual topic were you sincere and had legitmate grievances.

If you did have legitimate grievances why not alert on those posts? I think it's because you were just trying to publicly make more of them than actually exists.

Perhaps it didn't go as you planned, so now you're feigning something or another. Neither you nor I ate fooled by your attempts here.

You bit my head off. And frankly you are starting to sound as if those other posters might have a point. Your posts DO seem to contain an inordinate amount of RandomThoughts.

I think you are adult enough to admit you have been baiting people, been rude, and quite frankly obnoxious. But, I am open to hearing why you would behave in such a fashion.

And I won't be clicking on any links you post.

You are a long way from being able to pull that line off with any substance.

My brother was an alcoholic and that destroyed his life for a while. He had to live with the effects even after he became sober, that doesn't sound like the right term. But, anyway he is going on 10 years now without a drink. I still don't think it's wrong to point out if someone is drunk though. If it wasn't for people telling my brother he had to get help he wouldn't have and they didn't do it in one of those nice interventions either.

I'm not sure how GMO comes into this. But since I have dementia a lot escapes me.

Here is a group you might want to look into: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1147

I do have anxiety, and am a recovering alcoholic. Still, I've fought against stigma long before those things affected my life.

Take care. And thank you!

PS: The stigma part is not related to GMO discussions, other than the fact that a couple of posters utilized stigma to make personal attacks during those discussions.
