He got busted on a DV-which is why he's a former son in law.
He told the judge that he had no jurisdiction over him at the bail hearing.
Judge looked at him and said "In that case you can sit in jail until the trial"
He was a bit more subdued 4 months or so later. By then he'd been served the divorce papers and other things.
He got a year minus the time served.
Don't know what's happened to him since.

I actually watched this ridiculous thing, thank you, Snooper, for this insight into the life of a judge. Second time in a week for this guy. The end is the best part.

he was clear enough to keep his argument fairly straight.

That felony DUI..that's gonna hurt his agent, his person and his individual self !
