And we're getting ready to nominate a presidential candidate who is further right than Obama. Joy... joy.... joy...

Obama nominates a moderate a majority could accept... if the Republicans were willing to hold a vote.

Obama: "Look, here's a guy you could vote for in good conscience."

Republicans: "Boo!"

Obama: "Okay, I'm very sorry. I'm withdrawing my nominee. Here's a liberal woman of color. Want to hold a vote on her?"

Republicans: "Boo! She's even worse than the other guy! You are so pathetic! Who will you roll out as your next nominee?"

Obama: "Actually... She's the nominee and I won't put another guy forward. You should have voted on the moderate. Now you'll have to vote on a liberal nominee."

Republicans: "First a moderate, then a liberal... but no conservative! You are politicizing the process!"

If Republicans are against terrorism, should Democrats support it?
