Assuming that Hillary and T are the nominees.
I am thinking Hillary will pick Julian Castro. Or perhaps Joaquin Castro (twin brothers). Rising stars, big state. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/article24774469.html
As for that other guy, I have no idea.

(4,514 posts)For Trump? it needs to be someone who he can control. Not in office, in the election. I still believe Trump has NO intention of becoming the POTUS, that would be entirely TOO much work for him. His VP will be the patsy he needs to loose and save face. Oh poor pitifull me, I could have won the election if it wasn't for (fill in the blank). Palin is too obvious, Christy or Cruz seems about right. Even their own party hates them.

(3,569 posts)Once he figures out he is going to have to fund his own campaign, he will go all in for losing. He is not going to put a billion dollars out there on what he knows is a losing cause. Hillary will have a lot of PAC money and Trump won't.

(37,748 posts)All guesswork and conjecture on my part at this point, but should Clinton win the primary, it would be hard to argue against Elizabeth Warren as part of a winning strategy... one that could conceivable repair the minor rifts currently percolating within the Democratic party, as it would certainly broaden the base for the general election
That said, Warren is a strategic piece of the Senate for the Democrats and I'd hate to see her sear lost to the GOP. On the other hand, it would be fun to watch the idiots who believe Clinton's political youth is directly relevant to rhetorically denying her the White House rationalize Warren's own evolution.
I can't even imagine who Sanders would pick... though I'd be surprised if it didn't surprise me.

(3,569 posts)We need her fighting the fight in the Senate, not doing not shit as Veep. I love her and would hate to see her minimized in the Veep position.

I think Trump will probably pick Governor Rick Scott of Florida.
