You need independents to support you in the GE and as of now, I doubt she'll get their vote. Too many people are angry at the status-quo.

GE is a different animal and honestly, you and I both know that.

7. And I know Sanders has a steep hill incline to the nomination, both you and I know he has to

win big in the primaries left, it does not look good for him. Currently Hillary has received more votes than Sanders, if Hillary can not win with the support of more voters how in the hell is Sanders going to win with less votes.

We still have half the country who has a say with a lot of delegates to be decided. This primary can flip on a dime in a matter of a month.

I am not trying to discourage, but I deal in reality, the glass is half full and not half empty. It is not the end of the world and encourage everyone to become civic minded.

But most House Republicans are keeping quiet. “The hardest part about it is having to answer every time the nominee says something,” one worried Republican consultant said. “If he says this, ‘Do you agree?’ If he says that, ‘Do you agree?’ That’s the hardest part, not being able to control your race more. I think Trump makes every district tougher and every state tougher for a Republican.”

To combat that, Republican outside groups are planning a bigger-than-expected fundraising push to protect the House. "I think there are lots of major donors who may have been budgeting to play in presidential who are now saying we need to make sure we keep the House and the Senate,” said one top GOP strategist, who requested anonymity to describe private conversations.

Our energy is better put to use by focusing on the Senate. Never forget - Republicans are tricksters and they know we can beat them in the Senate this year.

9. Why would a bad presidential candidate change who you vote for locally?

I don't buy it.
Elections are local.
People will vote for who they think might get them what they want and in Republican districts that's the Republican no matter who he is.
Unless the only choice is a blatant Trump toady the Republicans will still win.

The problem with a bad choice at the top of the bill is that it can suppress that party's turnout. And in Hillary's case, she's a huge turnout motivator...for the far right.

Gerrymandering makes taking the house essentially impossible. Honestly between that and voter suppression, I can't really see democrats winning back the house at any time without a constitutional amendment. And how are you going to get that to pass?

Yes and every congressional Republican needs to be asked if he/she agrees with Trump every time he says something.
