Yes, Ted, because suicidal terrorism is contagious to all Muslims. And since our troops' occupation of the Middle East just promulgates this contagion, the final solution can only be a domestic occupation. We have to invade them over here so we won't have to invade them over there!

(3,569 posts)If we were to patrol the Muslim neighborhoods around here (Folsom CA) it would be in the 1%er neighborhoods. Lots of tech people here and that includes a very large Muslim population. Even building a nice mosque http://masjidbilal.com
I am curious, are there Muslim neighborhoods in cities? In SF I know where Chinatown, Koreatown, upperclasswhiterich people neighborhood (Nob Hill) Hippie town (the Haight) and Bayview/hunters point (traditionally the areas with large AA populations) but I ain't seen no Muslim town.
Are there in other cities?

(82,849 posts)I wonder why the millionaires who control our political discourse in the popular media can't think to ask such a question.
I reckon there are Muslim enclaves (we used to call them ghettos, because I'm very old). But what would it mean to patrol and secure those neighborhoods? Stop folks on the street and ask if they're being radicalized? Inspect the online devices and browser history for suspicious activities? Eavesdrop on conversations in restaurants and cafes? If a Muslim is, say, a Yankees fan and is disturbed that the team isn't being aggressive enough in shoring up their pitching rotation, does that get you a visit from the boys in blue?
We need some details, Sen. Cruz; and it's a cinch the pundits aren't going to ask you for any.

(3,551 posts)he knows that he needs to start somewhere, he has a plan and I can assure you that there are more neighborhoods that will be on that list... he needs a better police state before he implements religious and racial laws within the USA.
