If there is a God...

...and many, many hundreds of millions of people around the world believe that there is, then it may be time for these religions and church leaders to speak out?

There is no God in any major religion around the world that believes in killing innocent people. There are no 72 angels waiting to satisfy your earthly desires. If there are hot hell fires, then that will be the most likely destination for these weak-minded and sick individuals that not only kill others, but kill themselves as well. There is no deeper delusion.

It remains a shame, that anyone still believes in mythology of any sort. I was born again as a teen. At 17 I left Christianity. Best decision of my life.

"believes in mythology of any sort..."

I tend to include imaginary constructs such as national borders, politics and economics in that as well (though I understand we often rationalize one mythological construct as a wee bit more real than another-- but that's humanity for you).

laws or money or codes? No agreed upon math or units of measurement? Should we use an similar language, another imaginary construct? Everyone behaves as they wish with no community standards?

3. Problem: Every single believer believes in a different God.

Oh, sure, there is one God. They can agree on that.

But the details?

What does this God want?
What is the afterlife like?
Which acts are moral and which are immoral?
What punishments should be doled out if someone does something immoral?

Every believer has his own answers to that. And whatever you preach, a believer will only adopt those parts that he agrees with. If you believe in violence and 72 virgins 'n stuff then nothing will change that. Because it's belief.
