Symbolism?

When a little bird lands on the podium of a presidential candidate, surrounded by thousands, what does it mean?

I have had a long interest in "symbolism" and I do believe there is a deeper meaning in such happenings if we are willing to search.

First of all, is it a good omen or a bad omen? It could be either. What color was the bird? If it had been a crow, would it have been viewed as a symbolic "dove"?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

It means nothing. A bird was flying around and it wanted to land, rest or look around. Sparrows do that all the time in my back yard. In fact they are a nuisance where I live.

in the middle of a huge crowd that was not quiet and sat right in front of a man who was not only talking but gesturing. Most animals are not interested in setting in noisy crowds and are often afraid of movement. And it did not just land on the sign but it stayed there for a time.

It has been suggested that the bird was after the water bottle and that may be but that does not explain why the bird was so willing to act in such an unnatural way around all that noise and gesturing.

I cannot explain the symbolism but it seems to me that there must be something going on here when the actions are not normal actions for a bird.

I see it as a good omen. It brought joy and laughter. I would assume if it had been a bad omen it would have brought fear and unhappiness.

I think it may have signified approval of the candidate's message as the direction this country will go in the future?

Sometimes it brings warmth and smiles like it did at Bernie's rally... And sometimes it poops on your head.
But in any case, it is a part of life that we should relish.

I swear some people on this site are the most mean spirited people I've ever come across. I don't know what made them so bitter in life, but it is sad to see.

Lemme think, maybe it means something unusual will happen. My guess. I await the floggings.
