Protesters rally at Capitol against Confederate heritage month (MS)

Dozens of people rallied in downtown Jackson and marched to the Capitol Saturday to protest Confederate heritage month.

They called it the "not my heritage" rally ...

... "The food is amazing. There's so much great history about the music, white and black activists. Let's focus on that, not hate."

Kai Chambers also voiced concerns. "... Confederate heritage ... really shouldn't be celebrated, especially, we shouldn't celebrate owning people in the past. Nah, that's not good" ...

Also, the electorate in Mississippi is 40% registered DEM. If we could vote in a midterm election for once, things like confederate heritage month would never come up.
