Who else hates the term "Dysfunctional congress"? It spreads the blame...

...when it's obvious by any objective observer that it's the the Republicans that have been stalling, blocking, diverting, poison pilling and wasting time for many, many years now.

The media constantly frames it this way, yet I've never seen reporting on the Republicans intransigence stopping everything the majority favors.

I really wish specific congresspersons and specific bills and actions would be scrutinized, rather than this constant "throw the bums out, what are you gonna do?" storyline. It's so misleading, and frames everything as hopeless.

Classifying a family or another group as being dysfunctional tends to legitimize such behavior as acceptable for anyone associated with said group and or family, the reason being, (it's what they are so why fight it)

Name the individuals as well as their personnel actions will ensure they must take responsibility instead of hiding within the safe haven of the "Dysfunctional Family"

Check out Jane Mayer's new book DARK MONEY. it describes how Right wing billionaires and millionaires built up a shadow political operation over the past three decades and how Citizens United enabled the richest people in the country to order the obstruction. The book is well worth it.

The repukes are sabotaging the government by design to try to make it look as if Democrats are equally guilty. They need to be brought up on sedition charges because they're really trying to overthrow the government.
