Fuck Donald Trump

I initially posted this in the wrong forum. Apologies.

Fuck Donald Trump

Fuck Susan Sarandon and fuck anyone else who shills for Trump. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/29/susan-sarandon-trump-might-be-better-for-america-than-hillary-clinton.html

Trump has phone banks staffed by the Aryan Nation. That is who Sarandon and others who promote this view stand with.

He also gives Suzie a sizable tax cut, which with her many millions earned shilling for Loreal and its record of hideous labor violations and making workers sick from carcinogens exposes what a flaming hypocrite she is.

Same for the bernie or bust people.

Here's what she actually said, sensationalist headline to the contrary:

“some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in,”

Does that imply that she is one of them? Nope.

She shills for him. Period.

This is a Democratic discussion board. It is not a board for people who stand with mltui-millionaire Hollywood celebrities over the rights of ordinary Americans. I am sick of having rich people lecture to me about how inconsequential my rights are and that what is really important is the shit they shovel. She's a hypocrite and an idiot. Anyone who prefers Trump and his Aryan Nation brigade to the Democratic Party is my enemy.

She earns millions from Loreal and its horrendous record of labor exploitation. She rakes in millions and now insists the "revolution" will be served by installing a far right wing racist in office. She doesn't want a real revolution. She wouldn't fare well at all under one. Her luxury home would be taken away and she would be put to work doing actual labor. What she wants is to undermine the rights of American voters, whom she clearly has contempt for. That she seeks to promote white male supremacy is made clear by the fact that she now promotes Trump over Democrats. I loathe her and anyone who adopts a similar viewpoint. They are what they stand with, which is hatred and white male supremacy. We had a hint at that when she endorsed Sanders. She could have simply said I'm excited about him because of x, y, and z, but that wasn't sufficient. She had to insult women in the process by calling any woman who dared to vote exclusively for men as "vagina voters." Then she came at a civil rights activist, Dolores Huerta, with her mindless internet memes. She clearly thinks her wealth entitles her to own the rest of us. Well I'm not owned by her or anyone else. Americans vote for who we please, and her contempt for our rights, both voting rights and equal rights (evidenced by her advocating for Trump over Clinton) show exactly what she is. She is a self-entitled narcissist determined to punish the non-white male majority for daring to vote in their own interests rather than hers.

Nobody would dispute that she is an informed voter so she is obviously aware of the differences between Bernie and Hillary and the Republicans. She obviously knows Trump is a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, violent simpleton who would be bad for America in every possible way. As bas as W was for the country, Trump would be immeasurably worse. Despite knowing this about Trump and being deeply knowledgeable of Hillary, she still hedged when given a choice between Trump and Hillary. That suggests she feels Trump is better than Hillary in some regard otherwise she would not have needed to hedge.

The same thing happens all the time on DU when Bernie or Bust people refuse to support the Dem nominee in November if it is Hillary. With Sarandon, we now have a well-known public face of a liberal/progressive voter who irrationally, even if just slightly, prefers a candidate (Trump) who is antithetical to much of Bernie's agenda instead of preferring the candidate (Hillary) who is much closer in ideology and vision to Bernie.

who voted for civil immunity for gun corporations. That one trails significantly in the popular vote and delegate count.

There is no anti-corporate candidate. That's a campaign slogan that doesn't hold up to scrutiny. What is unfortunate is some voters have decided to take campaign rhetoric as fact, not only not bothering to check it out but repeatedly dismissing evidence that shows it to be false. For example:

They showed tatted out white supremacists manning his phone banks.

Interesting how much more concerned you are about evidence for statements about Trump than Clinton. It was in conjunction with a piece about David Duke endorsing him.

It's not huge because it's completely expected, entirely in keeping with his racist rhetoric. It was huge enough to make cable TV news, however.

You know full well that the racism is key to his appeal. Pretending otherwise is disingenuous.

ETA: The link I found was from PBS. Might have been PBS or both CNN and PBS. Regardless, it was far from an obscure source.

I was listening to his video as I was reading this. I have been off most of the net for four days. Just really seeing the issue hear.

This is indicative of Sanders and what he represents and this is his supporter.

It says so much, and exactly what we have been discussing for months. And Clooney's comment, the adults in the room. My overall feel there is a collective tantrum happening here.
