This will be our first Star Wars Day, without Han.

Give a good thought to poor Chewie. Didn't even get a hug from Leia.

1. Technically, they are all probably dead.

It did happen long, long ago.

3. Oh come on, the movie only made $2.5 billion dollars.

I think like half the world saw it. Even my brother who would rather have his teeth pulled than go to the movies, saw it. Do we really need a spoiler alert?

9. I think it's safe to say all SW fans know what happened.

Even if they haven't seen it yet, who could miss the chatter on the interwebs?

18. DVD's only been out for about a month

If someone missed it in the cinemas, they might not have seen it yet.

I had seen a hint or two that he was killed off, but didn't know for sure. It was quite possible to miss it on the net, if you thought "I won't go into discussions about it because I haven't seen it yet". Am I a 'fan'? Well, before the awful "episode 1" I was. After that, I didn't care, and only saw "2" and "3" when someone else had got the DVD and they suggested watching it, or when broadcast on TV.

6. Some of us would love to have seen it in theaters but on account of having kids.....

....haven't seen the inside of a movie theater in years.

So, thanks. Thanks a lot.

17. At least he didn't tell you that the guy who killed han is also his son.

But in all seriousness, the movie has been on DVD for a month. Its not a new release.

[Spoiler]

Darth Vader is luke's father. Sorry If I ruined that as well for somebody.

15. I've not seen any Star Wars movie

I am an original Star Trek person.

But if the OP is saying Han died, let me remind you of the long traditional of Sf characters supposedly dead actually being alive or returning to life.

16. Old School Trekkie here

Yeah, I know, but Harrison Ford has been lobbying for Han to be killed off since 1980.
