Judge Snow: Arpaio Committed Perjury, Criminal Referral to Come

......inside the courthouse, by the the end of a five-hour session, Arpaio remained unscathed and uncuffed, even as federal Judge G. Murray Snow signaled that his case would likely be referred for criminal prosecution and agreed with an attorney for the plaintiffs that Arpaio committed perjury while testifying during his 21-day civil contempt trial last year.

The purpose of Tuesday's hearing was to discuss remedies for the civil contempt violations and the possibility of referring Arpaio and others to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Arizona for criminal contempt charges, which could carry prison sentences.

During the hearing, Snow said he was considering four individuals for criminal contempt referrals: Arpaio; Sheridan; the former head of the MCSO's internal affairs unit (known as the Professional Standards Bureau), Captain Steve Bailey; and longtime attorney for the MCSO Michele Iafrate.

So the self-proclaimed "toughest sheriff" in the country is a liar to the point of being a criminal. Comeuppance, here it comes!

Even more sad and pitiful (if that's possible) is he probably doesn't even care. He may even consider his "persecution" by these softies is some kind of badge of honor.

Perhaps in prison he'll get the treatment he needs.

Tell me which guards are on duty that night, and I will try to find people who can offer them distractions that would make seeing what happened to poor little Joey too difficult to prosecute. Karma can be a bitch and I hope she is gonna get a bite out of his ass.

He always ends up getting away with everything.

We've been punked too many times in the past.

How that is legal, to keep people in tents in those conditions, I have no idea.

I mean...good enough for his inmates, so it must be good enough for him too.

I love karma.
