Not everyone is meant to be President.. John Kerry on Chirs Hayes

But some people can be just effective if not more effective in other positions.. Listening to SOS Kerry.. What an amazing man and how effectively he explains climate change and the things that need to be done and how it can be done in a way that builds the economy.. (aka O'Malley) wow..

from happening.

They knew that when Kerry entered the Oval Office that the books on BCCI and IranContra would have been re-opened exposing the real players/international financiers behind the global terror movement.

There has never been an anti-corruption warrior more effective than Kerry had been and the power players knew it.

6. It would be hard to top what he accomplished as SoS

But he clearly has the brilliance, skill, and perseverance to have fixed some of the problems Bush already set in motion.

Still, being the key American in getting the Iran deal, that likely avoided a terrible war and the Paris Climate change agreement is a better legacy than most Presidents have. In fact, along with the ACA, these are the three top Obama accomplishments.

It allowed Iran to start pumping oil. So much for that climate change...

But that does not mean that they immediately end fossil fuel. If anything additional oil at the current low price makes the far dirtier tar sands oil too expensive to pump and replaces coal usage, which is dirtier.

Not to mention, avoiding that war possibly forever is important.

5. Kerry's explanation of just that on climate change in 2004 was one of the things that made him

my favorite candidate ever. He spoke then of how using clean technology would not just fight climate change, but would help the economy as we designed the new technology, there would be cleaner air, cleaner water thus better health and we would not depend on an unstable middle east.

By 2006, he also included the statement that IF he (and most scientists were wrong) the down side of doing this to fight climate change would be that we would have cleaner air and water, better health and a stronger economy --- but if we do not do these things and the deniers are wrong, the result is catastrophe.

Kerry was one of the Senators who were on the commerce committee's subcommittee headed by Gore that held early hearings on climate change. It has been an issue that is incredibly important to him ... and to Teresa, who first husband was also one of the early people on this. Teresa herself was very important in making Pittsburgh one of the greenest cities in the US -- which is why GHWB picked her as one of the NGO representatives to the Rio conference in 1992. So, climate change conferences brought them together.

Kerry was instrumental in getting both the US/China pact and the Paris Climate Accord, which he signed for the US recently at the UN with his 2 year old grandaughter on his lap -- because it was something done for the future.
