Well, a middle school diploma would be more valuable than the ones they have. Wouldn't it be tragic if our country was run by the same folks responsible for these academic falures?

By conflating the two you are minimizing just what a scam Trump U was. The issue is not that it failed financially. It's that it was not actually providing the education it promised.
As to Burlington - just because a university has financial issues does not mean they didn't deliver a good education to their students.
True. TU, while no doubt run soundly from a business standpoint fraudulently offered a worthless educational product, wheras BC, which assumably offered a legitimate product was nonetheless administered fraudulently.
