48 years ago today:

One of the great tragedies of human history, the assassination of Robert Kennedy. So sad to think what we lost due to this vile act of terrorism, and what might have been.

lining the railroad tracks saluting Bobby's casket. It was a show of solidarity, mourning and respect I will never forget. He brought out our better angels-no one can convince me otherwise.
