An Open Letter to elected GOPers and GOPer PowerPeople

Dear elected GOPers and GOPer Power People:

Do you seriously think you can be forgiven your endorsement of Donald Trump based on your claim that you didn't know of his tendencies toward racism, classism, misogyny, bigotry, nascent fascism, incitement to violence, and other endearing traits? Seriously?

Paul Ryan, you were looking good when you withheld your endorsement. Yet, there you were, like a cat to catnip, unable to resist the "fall in line" behavior that is a GOP hallmark. A few scant hours were all that were needed to pass before you have to walk back unqualified endorsement when he went after a federal judge based on the judge's ethnic heritage.

Mitch McConnell, for you to explain your support of all this based on your statement that "Republicans want to win" is just pathetic. So principles just don't matter? Winning Uber Alles, huh? I never thought principles mattered to you, but now you have confirmed it beyond doubt.

Bob Corker, wow. You condemn the hate against the federal judge and then say, in effect, look over there! Shame on you. You're head of the Foreign Relations Committee. You know, better than most, how Trump is hurting us with our friends, even before he is elected. You know better than many how our friends wonder if, as a country, we have lost our mind.

Michael Steele, where was the "not just no, but hell no" from you when you were asked about being Trump's running mate. Don't tell us how you think you can influence him in some positive way. Mike, you know that simply isn't possible.

And lastly for this missive, Reince. Really? You're pathetic.

All Republicans need to look in the mirror and ask themselves why they're supporting a man who shows, more each day, everything that is wrong with a too large segment of our population.

Imagine if the majority of Trump's primary supporters were also people who engaged in sex acts with farm animals. Would you still be there for him?

No need to answer that last question. I think I know the answer.

Your fellow citizen,
Stinky (who, unlike your candidate, CHOSE to wear a military uniform in the late 1960s, while your guy claims he was busy having indiscriminate sex with lots and lots of women, a fact he described as his "Vietnam War&quot

PS: The well of unpleasant facts regarding Trump has only been sampled. You will all rue the day you endorsed this man. He will ruin your party for at least a generation.

The only problem is the Republicans have no shame or true patriotism. They can't hear you, if you know what I mean.
