PoliticusUSA: Donald Trump’s Presidential Campaign is Completely Imploding

Shortly after Donald Trump was declared the presumptive Republican nominee, there was talk in the media that the spray-tanned billionaire was ready to shift into general election mode. The new and improved post-pivot Trump would sound responsible and tone down his rhetoric; he would make nice with GOP leadership and start to act presidential.

That lasted about 10 minutes.

Since Memorial Day, the Trump campaign has been imploding just a bit more each day. Instead of playing damage control and getting his act together, he keeps doubling down.

No one would back a party where the first candidate imploded from racist tirades and someone that nobody voted for took his place.

she has serious vulnerabilities. I'm very worried the October Surprise will be against our side.

I wish this imploding thing was happening a few months from now. It's too soon.

Too soon.

I suspect Hillary is running against a candidate that won't be there a couple months from now.

That's all he needs. And the RNC would not dare to try to anything to overturn the will of Republicans primary voters.

Not used to criticism. He's used to being surrounded by ass kissers. Lately his pictures look horrible. I mean more horrible than he usually looks. He's got a summer of making outdoor speeches in the hot south. I really don't think he'll hold up until November.

"You should have seen the offer they made to me so I would drop out. It was yuuuge! The biggest buy out ever for a candidate! I engineered the greatest deal in history, and all I had to do was stop trying to get a job I didn't want anyway."

Naturally, both sides will agree to keep the amount confidential, though word will eventually leak out that Trump sold out his run for $1.62 and a promise that no fewer than three prominent Republicans would express publicly their regrets that Trump was quitting the race.

I suppose he did pivot but he pivoted towards more insanity and more bigotry. The stress is clearly getting to him. I bet he will forget to craft his comb over before a rally very soon. What a sight that will be

The ONLY reason tRump is the nominee is because he ran against a bunch of complete fuckwads. Jebus on a cracker - the other Bush, Huckabee, Carly, lil' Marco, Walker, Lindsay, Kasich, Carson, Gilmore, Christie, Rick and Rand, Jindal, Perry, and Cruz????? It's not really that much of a surprise is it? Donald ain't much to look at, but really - the field was terrible. And now a knight on a white horse is going to ride in a save the party? Cue Romney for another pathetic display of the "great white hope".

Nah - I'm betting that tRump stays in it, and he may do much much better than the pundits or democrats would like to admit. Hell, he could even win this damned election. He might even call for a "shoot a homeless man on Tuesdays" program and his popularity would actually bump up. And MSNBC will spend 25 hours a day crying and whining and huffing and puffing about it all, to absolutely zero avail. Many have said that something big is about to bite Donald in the butt, and it will be a game changer. I seriously doubt it. There really aren't any folks out there who can't decide between the Democrat or Republican left in this country. Some may stay home, but the number of people who will cross to Hillary or Bernie because of tRump isn't as great as the beltway idiots proclaim, and vice versa. Stay tuned as they say!

Trump deserves to lose and he most likely will lose.

The anti-Trump vote is very significant this year.
