I just have a gut feeling, independent of logic, that he won't find this fun and quit. He likes to dish it out but he doesn't seem to take it very well.

He is doing a fine job of blowing up the GOP. If he can hang on for a bit longer, that should net us the presidency, the senate and maybe make inroads in the house (I do not expect we win it with the heavy gerrymandering)

Even Lindsey Graham today was tearfully (or at least he was very emotional) saying that he was withdrawing his support for Trump and that every republican who rejects racism should do so. Many other to repubs are doing the same. This may not have an effect on the hardcore racist base Trump has but it will dry out any GOP donor funding. That will have a domino effect down ballot and the GOP will be done for at least for this election cycle.

After all, he brags about being the best deal-maker of all time.

I think if the right circumstances arise, he'll walk away from the race, as long as he thinks he got the better end of the deal.

No way does he really want that job.

How do they replace him?

The replacement has to be someone who's been running, doesn't it?

I am confused!

That he's going to be shit-canned and replaced, maybe by Ryan. One more embarrassing scandal and you can write Trump's political obituary.
