DU has changed a lot in the last year

I started posting here during the Dean run. I was never political before. All the liberal ideas I have I found here through reading. This does not seem like the board of that time.

How did we get here?

My previous thing was to review the whole thread, track down the conflict in the sub-thread leading to the Alert, and then vote, usually with thoughtful comments. This primary season things have fast tracked!1

Just because we chose a super rich privileged white person with donations from big businesses and big banks and insider political ties to be the democratic nominee doesn't mean we are any different... keeping the status quo is the new change!
