A question about the Republican candidate

Conservative broadcaster Hugh Hewitt has clearly stated that Donald Trump must not be the Republican candidate for president.

Since he's not the only one on the right who is uncomfortable with Mr. Trump, my question is this: How does the Republican Establishment deny Mr. Trump and nominate someone else? Since Mr. Trump has won the requisite number of delegates and dominated the Republican primary process, what is the mechanism for selecting another nominee?

Thanks.

But if they change the rules on The Donald, won't he sue? That's always his MO.

months and millions of dollars that the candidate picked by voters of the Republican Party is not worthy to run. I suspect that will go over like a turd in the donation plate a church.

They could leash him with a VP candidate of their choice, which I suspect is what will happen.

to funding.

Trump is not going to self-fund an election, and he has not built a campaign that is worth a shit when it comes donations. They can tell him, take our VP, and give him the power or no money.

They have to let this ride, suffer the consequences of their deal with this particular devil, and sift through the ashes to salvage their party once it is over.

This won't be the first candidate they have allowed to run that had no chance of winning.

They pandered to the tea party to bolster their positions and it has come back to bite them in the butt.

Frankly, I find it hilarious.

I agree, it's hilarious. This is especially true because the shallowness of their thinking is matched by equal measures of there ignorance.

On the other hand, it's frightening that there are so many people who believe their shit.
