Here's An Idea for the Rs: Don't Even Run A Candidate for POTUS This Year

Cut your losses, now.

Your Party will be better off conceding the election to Hillary than running Trump and having him destroy what's left of your Party. We're talking about not winning the presidency, losing the Senate, maybe losing the House, maybe losing governorships and at least a decade of blowback from the electorate if Trump is your nominee.

No R worth his salt will be willing to play the sacrificial lamb and replace Trump on the ballot, so you might as well face reality, bite the bullet and excuse yourselves from the presidential contest this year.

I always get that feeling reading DU, like posters here expect that Republicans really actually think like Democrats, but are just acting like assholes to be difficult or mean.

No matter how "presidential" he tries to act, all one need do is ask him if he'll apologize for his racist remarks, at which point he'll refuse to apologize and the "looking presidential" bs goes out the window.

There really is nothing good for the GOP in a Trump candidacy.

But speaking selfishly from Democratic side of things, I'm rooting
Donald on with all his great great narcissisto-bigotry and idiotic blather.
The Donald may very well hand us the White House and both
houses of Congress on a golden Trump platter.
