Those horned pictographs inspired by a sandstone wall in Utah were not understood by my neighbors to be ancient art. The local bartender told me I was considered by some ignorant locals to be a devil worshiper because of them. And we laughed and laughed and laughed. I had joked with the bartender that I brought them back from the desert to prevent rain, and it quit raining the day I got back and we had a record 100 days without rain here in Oregon. So that was a running joke at our watering hole as the days mounted up and the negative mud drawing perservered. This photo a year later, side panel still unwashed. Washed the rest to keep the neighbors happy.

Small, humor-challenged minds don't think long enough to wonder about their own interpretations of the world. Wouildn't have been so humorous if they had attacked the glyphmobile.

24. On my way home every day, I pass by a house

that has seven Trump signs in its front lawn. (The house is in a very liberal neighborhood in a blue state.) Sometimes, a guy sits in a lawn chair, holding up another Trump sign while checking his phone.

Today, it looked like he had fewer Trump signs than usual. I wonder if someone stole them, or he decided to sell them to other Trump supporters.
