Trump: 'My voters don't care' about lack of policy specifics

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/283023-trump-my-voters-dont-care-about-lack-of-policy-specifics#

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said on Wednesday that “voters don’t care” that he doesn’t give out many policy specifics on what he plans to do if elected.

In an interview with Time magazine, Trump said that he doesn’t need to release detailed proposals the way Hillary Clinton does because his supporters trust him to be an effective executive.

“My voters don’t care and the public doesn’t care,” Trump said. “They know you’re going to do a good job once you’re there.”

They released a paper a few days ago and I read several stories on it in which the fact that it wasn't just a paragraph was shocking to the reporters.

The majority of voters don't pay close attention to much of anything.

Heck, even here where you'd think the board was mostly populated by people who do pay attention and do know what's going on, every four years posters are completely hornswoggled by exactly how the primary/caucus season works. Or how they don't know that Social Security is a pay as you go system. Someone here was apparently startled to learn that today.

The relatively low turnout for the general election itself tells you how uninvolved and uninterested too many are.
