Nothing would improve this country more than finding a way to send every high school graduate to Europe for a gap year.

It changed my life, and politics in my 30's, and I was there for work for only 2 months.

the US where they have to learn to cope on their own in a different culture.

I too am a firm believer in gap year experiences.

Harvard is better accustomed than most to handling the issues of students with very famous parents. That gap year should help with that, of course. When the Clintons saw Chelsey off at her college it was a zoo.

What 8 years mean in a child's life. Wow. Well, go Malia!
