Paul Ryan's anti-poverty plan - he snuck in the real reason for it - get your retirement money

Remember before Trump came along Democrats used to talk about the GOP's long tradition of taking some horrible idea and packaging it in a way that would trick you into accepting it? Like changing the estate tax to the "death tax" to protect the wealthy at our expense?

Well, while you are distracted by Trump, they are still trying to destroy you. Paul Ryan just recently unveiled the GOP's latest "anti-poverty plan," and buried in the plan is an attempt to block the "fiduciary rule." Obama JUST VETOED a GOP attempt to block it a few days ago. This new rule goes into effect in 2018 and protects you in the following way: financial advisers will be required to only give you retirement advice that is to your benefit. Right now they can trick you into choosing other retirement options that give them more commission but leave you with less money in your retirement years.

Anyone who thinks there's no difference between the GOP and the DNC is a victim waiting to happen. Who has been protecting you from the Republicans taking this protection from you? OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS. Just as they've been protecting your from all kinds of things you never knew about.

Getting the mostest the fastest is the best policy in their little minds. And eff the folks who don't get.

We attack the root problem and get more people in who are not bought off by Lobbiests. Once it is illegal to bribe we have to protect whistleblowers instead of prosecute them. Then go full on oligarchy busting!

name all the US congresspeople who are Democrats that do not take funding from lobby-types.
60 Minutes had a great story this season about members of Congress spending a full 40% of their day trolling for dollars
AND the lead interviewee was a big name Dem.

and then they grow up.

I simply do not understand how Ryan can be so greedy and headless. When Ryan was 16 his dad died and he and his mother WEREN'T plunged into poverty because they got Social Security benefits.

He's just a newer version of Newt (lots of big ideas) Gingrich. The fawning corporate media even pumps him up as some kind of budgetary genius - a real numbers man. He's a crook who wants to take Social Security and give it to Wall Street. If he actually believes this crap, then he is quite delusional and ignorant. An Ayn Rander stuck in arrested development thinking, and an elected Congress Critter to boot. If he knows better and is just siding with the money boys like McConnell and Graham and the rest, then he's a bald faced liar and psychopath. Either way - he's a full blown turd. And two heart beats from the Presidency.
