Population control. Give everyone an assault rifle.

When you think about it, the NRA must be concerned about world overpopulation. Why else would they want no laws at all concerning guns?

Given an American population of about 300 million, give everyone an assault weapon, lots of ammo, and, given human nature, that number would probably drop to about 150 million in maybe a week or a month. The math isn't that hard given hostilites toward in-laws, wife-beaters, hated co-workers, road rage, bigotries, various jealousies, and, -- you name it.

Is population control really the goal of the NRA? That would be the outcome of their agenda. I don't really believe that's their goal, but they seem to be too mentally dense to foresee the outcome of what they want.

This concept probably insults some here on DU, but I would ask one thing of you. Read what I've said and think about it. Whatever the goal of unlimited gun control, the bodies keep piling up. And there's no reason to think that tomorrow will be any different.

This is another way of looking at the NRA idea that an armed society is a polite society. We all have loaded firearms at all times, so we know we will be shot if we get out of line. Or so the theory goes.
