The despicable mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub

makes the case for the end to assault weapon sales. The NRA thinks it's OK for a terrorist to own weapons. But something else is going on here.
The news pundits are speculating about other ISIS sympathizers who want to kill gays. Well the right wing nut Christians need to look in their own back yards.

I would want security guards to be trained and have access to assault weapons. You can't put a cop at every building.

In my opinion, this is not a good case to champion gun rights.

Armed Private Security companies protect a lot of our largest buildings. Instead of putting a cop there, we have private security companies. We'd have to raise taxes to put cops in every secure large facility.

Think of armored cars. Private companies can need big guns.

The shooter went through training, background check, company background check, company training.

I just don't see this as being a good case for gun control. There were many checks and balances for this guy.

Obviously this killer was not a cop. Again I do not agree.
We are already on our way to having private corporate militaries. That's the essence of fascism

I just thought it was relevant that we now know why he got his security guard clearance.

should be able to get assault weapons. Therefore he would pass a background check.
