Take that gun away and what happens? Also it is the assault weapons that I should be talking about. I just thought everyone would know that.

its an inanimate object that just sits there. People are kind of a required part of the equation.

none of the above weapons have the capability to fire without a human finger on the trigger pulling it. They are just inert lumps of metal. The terminology is correct, but the fact that a weapon was used to cause death and injury leads to questions of how, why the human chose the weapon used.

Guns don't kill people but the psycho who EASILY purchased a gun did.

Don't know what the solution is.

Take sodium penathol and get interviewed about why you really want to buy this gun?

Chris Rock came up with as good a solution as any.

Make bullets 500$ a piece.

Very effective over the years. The huge death toll, and the continued disabling of any effective method of reducing that death toll, is a testimonial to its effectiveness. If you find it convincing, that'a a clear indication the death toll means absolutely nothing to you. Are you proud of that?

There is a reason why the military uses guns, they are the best tool to kill the most people. It also works if the other person goes on the "Cars kill more people every year", I just say "maybe the military should get rid of their guns and just use cars instead, what do you think of that?"
