Some people get off on the idea that they can see the "truth". It's an ego thing.

Someone I know told me that the San Bernadino footage that we saw on tv a thousand times over, was really footage of a training exercise that happened earlier.

When I asked her why someone who was in that training exercise, would not speak up and reveal the "truth" she had no answer.

but that didn't stop her from believing in her theory.

I know people who swear that Sandy Hook didn't happen, that the Boston Marathan Bombing was done by the govt to see how people react to losing their liberties.

it's a strange phenomenon. no matter how often I encounter it, it leaves me baffled.
