Doesn't There Come A Point Where Trump Is Beyond Rehabiliation?

Last edited Tue Jun 14, 2016, 11:06 PM - Edit history (1)

Isn't he already past the point? Politically?

How does one erase or unsay the things he has said?

No matter how much the Rs want to ignore his hatred, no matter how much they will try to excuse away the horrible and stupid things he has uttered, the Ds are certainly not going to stop pointing out who he is. One would hope the media would also keep up the JOURNALISM and refuse to go easy on Trump.

Seems to me that there is nothing at this point that can be done to make Trump acceptable to any person who has half a sense of decency. I would not be surprised if the Rs bite the bullet and simply deny him the nomination based on his being a dangerous racist. They are going to lose with him and lose big. Better to cut their loses, run a more-moderate person and accept that they will not win the presidency but may be able to stem their down-ticket loses.

I think so as he seems to have destroyed any possibility for Republican party unity. n/t PoliticAverse Jun 2016 #1

. . . insofar as the Republicans appear to have fallen victim to what pilots call, I believe, "controlled flight into terrain."

Maybe if it started when he was 7.

I think he's been a narcissistic prick for decades.
