2. +1. Also will note that there is nothing 'leftist' about asking for the NRA's 'permission'

I saw the report this morning of his wanting to meet with La Pierre about restricting people on the no fly list from being able to buy guns. He wants to bellow about how he got it done when the president couldn't.

I wondered how his supporters would react. So, good that they're freaking out. He and his supporters deserve each other.

We need him to make it past the convention. If he flames out before, the GOP may run a more competent candidate.

12. He's not going to flame out, imo

They're stuck with him. The best they can do is get on the same page regarding firearms. According to reports today, McConnell is already wanting to meet with the FBI director about it.

14. Well, they don't really have much in the way of competence at this point.

And even if they got someone, that person would then have to deal with a pissed-off Trump and his pissed-off supporters in addition to Hillary. Plus, the clock's ticking. Trump has not built an organized campaign structure and every day that goes by leaves less and less time for someone else to come in and successfully do it.

I'm not saying this is in the bag--we need to work hard from now until November, but I do think Trump has already done some serious damage to the GOP.

10. So you're in favor of terrorism suspects on the no fly list

Being able to obtain weapons? I think it's a reasonable approach to a complex problem. Any type of support of gun control is a move left, cause the right wants NO control at all.

McConnell is being reported as saying he wants to talk to the FBI director about what could be accomplished regarding firearms and the people on the no fly list. I just heard this reported by Russert on MSNBC.

All the rats jumping ship at the same time. That brow beating they got from "Fresh out of fucks" Obama probably helped a little too.

Perfect description. The guy looks ready to choke someone/cry every time he has to make another announcement that a whole bunch of people are dead.
