FIVE shootings with no injuries? What the hell is the matter with these responsible gun owners? You fire your weapon, you'd by god better hit somebody! That's how you win a war, by making someone else die for what he believes in.

And it should be a mark of shame for anyone in the House or the Senate who turns his back on this wholly unnecessary carnage. "We'd like to do something about all this mayhem and death, but the Constitution says we have to do it!" Flat out cowardice.

background check! Just think, if everyone was armed people would be too scared to shoot each other! Dogs would be too scared to piddle on your car tire and cats would be too scared to cough up that hairball on the kitchen table!

Jenus!

is that everyone has access to weapons.

It is a hobby after all and you can protect yourself with a gun.

Although, the current tests available for testing whether or not a person is a responsible, safe gun owner, is kind of lacking.

As anyone who belongs to the NRA will tell you.

The above list, is a list of irresponsible gun owners.

They have yet to come up with a better way of determining if a person is qualified, until AFTER someone is injured or killed.

In all seriousness guns are designed to kill. They should be heavily regulated, insured, licensed and be properly trained. Anyone under 18 should not have access to a weapon without a parent present. Children under 12 should not be allowed to even shoot a gun. Guns should be stored and secured when not being attended by an adult. Weapons should only have a limited number of bullets, no 100 round magazines.

And all of that should be the law. So many guns and people are taking these deadly weapons for granted.

McKenna Washington, 2 dead. Just prior to 8:30 am a man walked into McKenna's only chiropractor office, pulled out a shotgun and murdered the doctor. The man then turned the shotgun on himself and comitted suicide.

It may or may not have anything to do with the shooting but the shooter's wife was a receptionist (or massage therapist depending on which news service one reads) at the chiropractor's office.

We are a very small town, very rural....we have one stoplight. If the town of McKenna has more than 100 residences and 20 businesses I would be surprised.

that many, many more are injured than are killed outright. I don't believe I've ever had any gun apologist respond to that.

The numbers of dead are bad enough but those maimed ought also to be front and center of this story.

"No fly, no buy" is so simple and sensible. Might have stopped - might have - the Orlando murderer.

Background checks for all gun sales so simple and sensible.

I'm going to email them everyday until that promised vote!

And then one more time afterwards.

Then...

Everyone is ENTITLED to have a gun in the US, no matter what?
I believe that there are enough guns in the US so that everyone can even have THREE!
And we all need these freedom protectors, so that a good guy, can protect our freedom from bad guys!
