Surprise: Earth Has Two Moons (Original Post) NCTraveler Jun 2016 OP
One is Donald Trump's head. Atman Jun 2016 #1
I'm not sure the gravitational pull would hold it in orbit. NCTraveler Jun 2016 #3
No, it has two satellites. News headlines these days. Scootaloo Jun 2016 #2

'two moons' is far more accurate than 'two satellites' muriel_volestrangler Jun 2016 #11
not really, just kind of stuck in a half ass orbit around the Earth and will drift away sometime snooper2 Jun 2016 #7

The ignorance of science in our world is disturbing. Everything in our lives has science and its nomenclature is how we define the universe. It's weird, to me, that people don't want to learn more about it because "it's hard."

It has hundreds (thousands?) of satellites. It may have 2 natural satellites.

Why do you think 'moon' is unsuitable, but 'satellite' OK? We talk about the moons of Mars and so on.

a major satellite that's been in orbit for 4.5 billion years. Yeah, lots of similarity there.

which the BBC panel show 'QI' was trying to push as a 'moon', though it usually has, relative to Earth, a kidney-shaped 'orbit' around a Lagrange point: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3753_Cruithne
