The 11 Gun Bills Tulsi Gabbard Won’t Support  — While ‘Standing With’ Senate Dems (In A Selfie)
Taking a selfie while others act is not what servant leaders do.

In fact, Rep. Gabbard has declined to co-sponsor any common sense gun control legislation, including H.R.4269— the Assault Weapons Ban of 2015 — which is co-sponsored by 125 of Gabbard’s fellow Democrats. Here are the other nine gun bills that Gabbard has NOT supported:

H.R.4748—Imported Assault Weapons Ban of 2016
H.R.3926 — Gun Violence Research Act
H.R.3411 — Fix Gun Checks Act of 2015
H.R.2380 — Gun Show Loophole Closing Act of 2015
H.R.1745 — Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Reduction for our Streets Act
H.R.752 — Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act
H.R.226 — Keeping Guns from High Risk Individuals Act
H.R.225 — Firearm Safety Act of 2015
H.R.224 — To require the Surgeon General of the Public Health Service to submit to Congress an annual report on the effects of gun violence on public health.

If Tulsi Gabbard does not support common sense gun laws, she should let the residents of her district know that before they go to the polls this August. If she does support these gun laws, she needs to join her fellow Democrats (and some Republicans) and co-sponsor the above bills immediately.

3 assault weapon ban type bills, 3 or 4 to criminalize private sales in the same state, one purporting to enable "research" on gun violence, when such research is not banned...

Good. None of those are common sense. They're all garbage from what I can tell.

Tulsi's enemies don't want people talking about what she DOES support.

As a former military police officer, she had experience on most or all of the following weapons: Beretta 9mm pistol, M4 5.56 carbine, M249 5.56 squad automatic weapon, M2 .50 Browning Heavy Machine gun and the MK19 40mm grenade launcher (fully automatic).

There aren't too many people in Congress with that much hands on experience with real military weapons and she knows the difference between real military weapons and civilian weapons.

The most recent data from the 2010 Census shows that only seven percent of Americans have served in the military, while veterans make up 20 percent of the current Congress. In 1971, 73 percent of members of Congress were veterans, but veterans made up fewer than 15 percent of the American population.

and yes, I've served too, although I choose not to call myself a veteran since I did not make it a career or see service in a combat theater.

Common sense firearm regulation won't work because it won't work!

Whew! That was close. Gotta say the magic words or the sacred relics of the High Church of Redemptive Violence (our national religion) could be in danger. Oh, I see the acolytes have been here already. Well done, thou good and faithful servants.
