"Senator" Cory Gardner (R CO) included this pic in his latest newsletter. He says it shows him signing a book of condolence for the victims of the Orlando shooting. Given that he's taken $3.8 million from the NRA, I shared the pic on facebook with the admonition that I hoped he was honest enough to sign in blood.

(15,800 posts)he unsurprisingly was not one of the senators to cross the aisle during the recent filibuster. Hey, it's not as though Columbine and Aurora didn't happen in his home state, right?
To be fair, he does have one talent in addition to selling himself to the highest bidder: he's really, really good at not giving a damn.

(26,355 posts)Oh sure, his prayers are with the victims of the Orlando massacre and their families.
He's just not saying aloud that his prayers are imprecatory...

(28,075 posts)all the usually BS about "our hearts going out to the families", etc.
I take heart that he has just been slammed on it for not doing anything about gun regulations and for taking "only" $18,000 from the NRA and there's only been 1 or 2 people who tried to argue about it.
Maybe the public is finally waking up.
