What's the latest take on intelligence briefings for the candidates?

When I say candidates, I mean Trump. This is not s Hillary post.

I'm not sure what the level of candidate briefings is, i.e., confidential, secret, top secret, higher, but I can see a situation where briefed rooks hesitate providing anything other than publicly available information to Trump. Trump is too stupid to understand anything other than that or to treat classified information appropriately.

What do you think will happen in this regard?

Maybe they'll give him some fake stuff to blab about further showing his incompetence.

I frankly don't understand the point of this, since there is a lot of time between the election and the inauguration to bring the winner up to speed.

I would imagine that what he should or should not know will be taken into account.
