The 5 star movement doesn't have a real project (beyond some welcome anti-corruption). They are 'anti-system', something Trump also claims to be. There is a massive discontent vs the elites spreading worldwide, and no clear answer to that popular swelling.

Sound familiar?

We are seeing this more and more throughout Europe and even in the US. Voters of western democracies no longer find the status quo establishments to be acceptable, and they are electing outsiders to force radical change.

Raggi is also new to the political scene and a relatively unknown.
